Using a tiny microchip about the size of a grain of rice, HomeAgain connects you and your pet to a comprehensive pet recovery service that includes:

• Proactive Pet Recovery helps you look for your pet. HomeAgain sends out lost pet alerts to veterinarians, shelters, and PetRescuers surrounding the area in which your pet was lost. HomeAgain also allows you to easily create a "Lost Pet" poster that you can print and post in the neighborhood.
• 24/7 Emergency Medical Assistance through the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center hotline (a $60 value, free to HomeAgain members)
• Medical Insurance for Lost Pets is now available with your annual HomeAgain membership. Offered by PetFirst Healthcare, it covers up to $3,000 (less a $50 deductible) of medical treatment for injuries your dog or cat suffers while lost, upon proof of a lost pet incident. Coverage is not automatic - once enrolled in HomeAgain, call PetFirst to activate your pet's Lost Pet Medical Insurance coverage.
• Pet ID Cards with pet's name, microchip number, photo, vet information and emergency clinic contact information to carry in your wallet

In order to protect your pet with HomeAgain, go to your veterinarian (or find a HomeAgain vet in your area) and ask to be enrolled in HomeAgain. Once your pet is enrolled in HomeAgain, you'll have access to our advanced HomeAgain pet recovery service, including:

• Immediate engagement of a vast network of professionals actively looking for your pet if he or she should become lost
• Email alerts (including your pet's picture) instantly sent to shelters, vet clinics, and other members of the HomeAgain network where your pet was lost or near your home
• Trained counselors to assist you in your pet's recovery
• A "lost pet poster" with your pet's picture that you can post in the neighborhood to aid the search for your pet
